they certainly came a REALLY long way from playing at Fat Frog Cafe at Substation Garden with a only a handful of crowd watching them to a crowd of THOUSANDS at baybeats...the recognition they deserved came abit too long...but nonetheless, it came and they truly deserve it...
and anyways, if you did read the interview, there was this last part Jon talking about a US indie band saying it was the BEST local band performance they've ever seen, my guess is dat Jon is talking about The Gloria Record applauding Astreal when they played in Baybeats 2003...the legendary Chris Simpson was standing beside me (heh!) looking very impressed by Astreal's performance, applauding and giving Astreal two thumbs up.
